Lubuntu works perfectly, though now looks suffer due to the minimalist lxde desktop environment (yeah, ATM machine) and less visual customization in regards to window/desktop effects that a user such as my girlfriend might expect in 2012.

In my case I just hack the /etc/X11/startDM.sh script that would normally load the X session (whatever it is: xfce4, gnome, lxde, …,etc). So just before that script executes the default desktop environment I inserted that “modprobe” thing.

Beberapa hari yang lalu, saya mengganti sistem operasi linux lubuntu (LXDE desktop) diganti dengan ubuntu (Unity/GNOME desktop). Saya memakai versi 12.04 LTS, setelah saya mendownload file ISO dari ubuntu.com sebesar 729.1 MB.

Volendo (è un poco più "ricca" già all'atto dell'installazione, ma l'altra è lievemente più "personalizzabile" proprio perchè contiene qiualcosina in meno all'atto dell'installazione) si può anche usare la versione LXDE (non "mini").
